Dear Happy Dog,

The best dog breed in the US is the Pound Mutt - no AKC papers are necessary: there are millions all over the country. The only medical drawback to this breed is their huge heart - hearts large enough to forgive the most selfish human who dumped them in the first place. This breed comes in all colors, shapes and sizes and from scruffy, unloved and unkempt. This breed is famous for bouncing back and learning tricks like loving and trusting again and getting back its self confidence and self esteem.This breed is good with children, or not! But, as with all breeds, will give unconditional love. I urge everyone, at least once in their lives, to bring this pound mutt breed into their home since, although it will never be extinct, should never be euthanized because a home can not be found. Oh, and you can never chose a pound mutt yourself - the pound mutt will choose you.
